Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt

NEAT - // BATCH 27 // This whisky is like a vapor. Everything here comes and goes and quickly as you smell and taste it. Nonetheless… NOSE - Orange/Citrus, Ripe Bannana, Honey, and Vanilla PALATE - With the exception of the ripe bannana note, everything on the nose comes through on the palate but again, it’s very brief. This is also the first whisky that I’ve had that I can describe as “airy” on the palate. It’s just very watery despite the pleasant notes. FINISH - Essentially nonexistent. BUY? - I think this whisky serves the purpose of getting people into the flavor profile of scotch, whether it be blended or single malt. For that purpsose, this whisky is great. For connoisseurs and enthusiasts, you likely won’t replace this bottle and neither will I. BUY AGAIN? - No.

Nariz: frutal, limon , caramelo Boca: frutal Retrogusto: spicy

Nose - crisp, citrus/lime, a little cereal Palate - light citrus, woody, a little smoke, pepper/spice, also vanilla, toffee Finish - medium, still some citrus & toffee, smoke fades out Not bad to sip neat, add a little water. Very good for cocktails (Cost I’ve listed is from 2019 or so, had this bottle for awhile. Still under $35 now)

Total Score : 2.88 [Eng] [Nose] - Fruity scent. - Weak spiciness. - Shallow caramel scent. - Chocolate scent. - Fresh and light. - The scent of raisins gets stronger later. (heavy sweet) [Palete] - Fruity scent. - Fresh and light sweetness. - Slight grain scent. [Finish] - The finish is spicily lingering. [Kor] [Nose] - 과일향 - 약한 스파이시 - 옅은 캐러멜향 - 초콜릿향 - 상큼하게 가벼운 느낌. - 나중엔 건포도향이 강해짐. (진득한 달콤함) [Palete] - 과일의 향 - 산뜻한 달콤함 - 약간 고소함 [Finish] - 피니쉬는 다소 스파이시하게 여운이 남음.
