Spicy and malty, with a hint of sweetness. A little water makes the spice notes explode. Ice tones down the spice and allows the sweetness to emerge from behind it's shadow. I want to try it in a cocktail next.
A pleasant drink. I’m finding it hard to find much on the nose other than some smoke. Tasting I get a little bit honey, mostly a weak smoke with vanilla and oak towards the end.
My journey through whiskeys, bourbons and scotch’s has been a fun one. Scotch’s definitely have a more Smokey earth taste. It’s good when I’m in the mood for it. This says it has a low peaty profile but I can still taste a hint. It’s nice tho.

Overall, pretty good. I don’t like the weird acid taste but other than that it tastes quite smooth and enjoyable. 6/10
