Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt

Fruity, light, oily. Medium length on the finish and feels like a spring drink. Bit of spice towards the end. Sweet. Taste goes from sweet to malt to spice. Good range and variety for one sip. Not for me, but I can understand why it’s popular for people who like speysides.

Spicy and malty, with a hint of sweetness. A little water makes the spice notes explode. Ice tones down the spice and allows the sweetness to emerge from behind it's shadow. I want to try it in a cocktail next.

A pleasant drink. I’m finding it hard to find much on the nose other than some smoke. Tasting I get a little bit honey, mostly a weak smoke with vanilla and oak towards the end.
