Old Forester 1870 Original Batch

Caramel, vanilla, some cherry on the nose. Caramel, oak, a little smoke an the palate. Nice finish. It’s good.

Tarnished copper. Fairly sticky. Slow legs. A little ethanol hit on the nose, lots of rye spice, mint and eucalyptus. maybe a hint of banana along with some coconut. Sweet up front with plenty of vanilla and coconut that stay all the way through. Finish has some dry oak notes and a hint of baking spice.

Nose: Vanilla, Caramel, slight floral with tangerine. Hint of dry roasted nut. Palate: Vanilla and caramel come quickly followed by the dry roasted nut (Pecan and peanut). Finish: Medium with a nuttiness and fading salted caramel.

Getting mostly fruit on the nose. Good overall but the finish is short. Not worth $50 IMO.
