Old Forester 1870 Original Batch

Not bad. I get the cherry and butterscotch on the nose. Alcohol taste here dampens some of the other flavors but I’d return to this for a budget bourbon or better cocktail mixer. Not my favorite but not bad at all.

Very sugar base nose with a leafy overtone, butterscotch picks up when it opens. Palette undertone is orange zest, vanilla up front with a burning hug in the middle. Spicy clove finish, long lasting.
