On the nose, I get strong notes of luxardo cherry syrup, banana, cinnamon, clove and oak with a light orange zest and very light corn behind these stronger notes. On the front and mid-palate there is a wave of banana and cherry fruitiness that plays with a meaty oak note. On the finish the oak and clove spice pushes through after the fruity wave on the front palate. The orange and grain notes disappear on the palate compared to the nose. This is a fun bourbon if you enjoy a bunch of fruitiness on the front end and do not mind a spicy finish.
