Average color in the glass. Smooth smell to it, not what I expect from this high of barrel proof. Smells like an old leather wallet(doesn’t smell like ass) like an old leather wallet your grandfather (pun intended) handed down to you. Pretty smooth on the tongue, but then on the swallow it comes across as an aggressive firework of the barrel proof explosion burn, that you feel in your entire mouth. The only flavor I pick out is caramel popcorn. This remind me of some sort of fall festival/Christmas party hot spice drink, Give you the warmth mouth, throat, and chest feel as it goes down.

Rested 15 minutes. Served neat in a Glencairn.
Nose - fruity, vanilla, caramel, a little ethanol. Definitely reminds me of a grandparents house.
Palette - woah, a lot more heat than I thought. Rye bomb for sure. Cherry, toasted oak. More rye.
Finish - fruity, very spicy, black pepper. The heat sits with you for quite a while.
Overall I really like this one. Too much heat for 114 proof but a great pour for $35/bottle.
Cinnamon oak spice bomb with a nice nut (almond meets pecan or walnut) mid flavor and leather/tobacco finish.
The finish and mouthfeel is my favorite part of this. It has a whole tongue and alround amazing mouthfeel and tingle.
