Old Grand-Dad 114 Bourbon

Neat: Caramel, vanilla, oaky. Tasty

Butterscotch tobacco not much finish buy still good.

The nose starts a little ethanol forward with caramel, floral furniture polish and baking spices The palate is peppery with an almost high proof scotch like flavor. Not a very complex palate The finish had a funky rubber hose and plastic like flavor mid toung but a nice long finish. Its not bad for the price but not going to be avdaily sipper

Therevis an unexpected sweetnes on the nose, almost candy-like but with s hint of ethanol. On the palate the sweetnes is nicely blended with typicsl OGD dpice from the high rye mashbill. There is an unmistakable alcohol burn, but far less than one would expect with 57% ABV. I believe this will take a permanent spot on my liquor shelf, right beside OGD BiB.
