Explosion of heat. It’s spicy, nutty, Jalapeño peanut brittle. Notes of oak, leather, and some bitterness from the char. There’s a touch of corn, the mouthfeel is pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. Long, lingering finish with less heat than the palate but still featuring peanut butter, caramelized sugars, and a touch less oak.
NEAT: aroma of vanilla, caramel, with a hint of tobacco. Moderate alcohol smell.
Moderate burn up front but once it wears off it opens up to some cherries and chocolate. Leather and tobacco in the finish and aftertaste with some mild sweetness.
Im sure its better when toned down with a cube, but even neat is good. Yes its a little harsh at the front, but it finishes in a nice smooth taste. Good budget bourbon.

Nose: Sweet leather, tobacco, vanilla
Palate: Vanilla, peanuts
Finish: Medium-long with baking spices and rye
For an MSRP that you should be able to find $30 and under- this is perhaps one of the best values in bourbon currently out there. A classic bourbon profile, solid proof, a fantastic value sipper.
