Brine, salt and tangy orange creamsicle nose. More brine and creamsicle on the tasting, with clotted cream, sour berries, and freshly cut alfalfa. Followed by a medium dry black pepper warm finish that lasts just long enough to put a content relaxed smile on your face. A very good dram!
Nose - big hit of honey, graham cracker and marshmallow but not chocolate, a bit of brine and sea air
Palette - medium bodied, rich dark honey sweetness, a bit of oak spice adds some balancing dryness
Finish - medium length sweetness, very tiny bit of bitter finish, mild burn
Nose is bright and fresh for the abv, slight toffee note, citrus and vanilla. Taste is much more flat, slightly sweet then sour, woody and malty. Short to medium finish doesn't give much help to this. But decently average overall.
