Penderyn Celt

I'm very confused. The first time I had this, I hated it, but now I love it. Light and smoky and sweet.

Very light smoke, herbal aftertaste

Not good. A lot impurities and harsh.

Flaviar advent calendar 2023 #2 Nose: Peat funk, sea salt air, oily. Mild citrus elements, there's definitely a note of marmalade. Vanilla. Palate: light and smooth. Salt. Vanilla, mild smoke and very mild peat. Ginger butter and malt chewiness. Hints of citrus and mild smooth woodiness (like a fresh sweet wood with very light tannins, not charred). Very drinkable. Finish: Thin. Not very long, mild seawater. Mild oak. The nose is definitely bigger and the palate doesn't quite live up to what the nose promises. Not bad by any means. A very light, drinkable malt with a kiss of Laphroaig notes on the nose and lesser so on the palate
