Pike Creek 10 Year Rum Barrel Finish

Very sweet on the nose with light tropical fruits such as coconut and banana and the rum comes through . The taste is smooth but uneventful, with rum notes over a generic whiskey and a nearly nonexistent finish.

Initial pour has me thinking square of a Barbados rum with brown sugar and molasses. Taste brings out more molasses with some interesting changes to vanilla and brown sugar moderate finish. Easy sipper for some change from a baseline Canadian.
