Nose: concentrated sweetness of dried fruit, raisins, marmelade
Taste: bittersweet syrup mouthfeel, a bit toffee like, pure chocolate, and very slight pepper note
Finish: quite long, warm, concentrated sweets, with a more pronounced bitterness
Nose: Sweetish ( port character), almond, raisins, marsipan. Well balanced, smooth, velvety
Taste: various sweet tones, difficult (for me) to distinguish the individual components. Faint bitter note.
Finish: maybe the only somewhat disappointing feature. Quite short, the bitterness coming forth.
Very unique, in a good way. Fells nutty and has a different flavor profile than traditional whiskeys. The nose reminds me of port wine, but without the sweetness. Great choice to surprise guests with.
Probably the most unique whisky I've ever tried.
Raisin & fig really comes through with walnut hint. Smooth & mellow sweetness. Fruitcake-y musings - but good fruitcake ha!
I really enjoy this one for something different
