The nose on this!! Malted milk ball, cherry coke, banana nut bread, brown sugar. The palate measures up to the aroma pound for pound: Banana nut muffins, slightly overdone cornbread, wafts of oak, sweet wheat, a fleeting dash of mint, a specter of grape must. The mouthfeel is sticky, a little syrupy. The finish is a velvety and warming fade of chewy grain. This is phenomenal.

Tried this first on its own from the neck pour. This was a good balance of bourbon and sherry. Then did a blind of this, Angel's Envy bourbon finished in port barrels, and Basil Hayden's Dark Rye blended with Port. Rabbit Hole held up as best overall. BH won as old and sweet favorite, and AE came out last with a harsh ethanol note and tinge of old house (mildew). I've never enjoyed the AE unless it was my first drink with no comparison to something beer
