Redbreast 21 Year

Cannot appreciate Redbreast as much as it probably deserves.. butterscotch, honey and white fruits hints underneath a heavy hay-ish feel, oily but not really flavored aftertaste

This is an astounding whiskey, and lives up to the hype.  You should definitely find some to try. Nose: Sherry , Orange, cooked fruit, fruit, peach, baked bread , Cantaloupe, apple, apricot. Taste: continuation of flavors from nose, and Orange rind, moderate mouthfeel, berries, alcohol, spicy , smooth, delicate, sherry influence. Color: Beautiful light tan color Finish: long lasting finish, same flavors. Light smoke. Beautifully balanced. Very refined  In glass, cooked fruit, peach, spice, sherry, brown sugar, sweet. Vanilla and walnut. Cantaloupe, apple, apricot. Needs time in glass to open up. Purchased a bottle from fine drams in 2021 as a special treat.

Very complex aromas with layered tastes. You can taste some vanilla and a bit of smoke and there is a sweet follow through. It has a drawn out tail that lingers pleasantly and is very smooth.

Nose: 4.5/5 very grassy, hay, vanilla, honey Palate: 4/5 sweet in mouth, i found it lack a bit of complexity comparing to the nose Finish: 4/5 long, sweet and grassy

Dark musty and complex aroma. Flavor is smooth and rich at first, building to a tempered fiery spice. Medium high richness. Sweetness comes in on the tail, but underneath layers of wood, long tail. Best Irish I've ever tried.
