Redbreast Lustau Edition

Lovely warm, nice sweet finish with the Sherry cask, and lovely chest warmth and tongue numbness that usually comes with Redbreast

Vanilla, biscuits and red wine on the nose. Honey, strawberry, butter, oak spice on the palette.

Very good. Reminds me of Redbreast with some Oaked bourbon added. The spice is definitely not what I expect in a typical Irish. Delicious. Not one I would buy a bottle of due to price.

Sweet and edgy, obvious sherry fruitcake flavor up front followed by a fairly sharp, spirity burn right through the finish. Sort of a bourbon-like oak flavor at the end, as well. Not bad, but I prefer the standard Redbreast.
