Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond

A nice and spicy rye, with a soft palate, but great on the way down with spices and burnt sugar notes. Great for the price! Drank neat but would love to try in a old fashioned.

Full bodied flavor with a kick. Buttery.

Damn nice. The feel reminds me of my old granddads pipe tobacco smell. Its a rye so it wont cuddle you like a sweet and round bourbon. It got hints of spikyness and is not totally tame. Suits good after a rough day.

sweeter roasted sugar notes that instantly translate to a more robust standard rye spice, oak, slight menth, black pepper and tiny dashes of dried fruit. Decent rye, would be more prone to using this as a mixing rye than a sipping rye
