I prefer this over even Colonel Taylor Rye, due to longer finish and greater complexity and corn influence (with Taylor having no corn). It's one of my favorite ryes, though a bit low proof compared to my other favorites. It's much different from the typical MGP/LDI sourced rye, which really helps it to stand out.It makes it so that I can't wait to try Sazerac 18yr even more so the higher proof (though not quite as long aged) Thomas Handy rye, if I can ever find it.
