Sazerac Rye

Light, orange, clean tasting; not super spicy but enough; would be happy with this as my go-to cheap rye; almost too sweet/thick but perfect for an OF 11/19/20

Honey and fruit with a rye spice finish.

Surprised it was rye at first. Grass in the back. Very good maple nose. Vanilla. Smooth. Some raisins. Maybe a little green apple.

May be a little bit muted as the bottle has been sitting half-empty for a couple of years. Sweet and smooth with a bit of a honey/floral edge, but not as profoundly spicy as most ryes.

Rich ripe cherries, cherry juice, sweet, vanilla, slight bready/yeasty, brown sugar, trace burnt oak on the end, medium finish.
