Typical bourbony smell with a bit of a musty note - reminds me of corn tortillas. Nice, tart sweetness up front. Pronounced peanutty flavor and long, oaky finish. Notable burn for a wheated bourbon. There’s no rye present in the mashbill, but there’s a spiciness there that could’ve fooled me. All in all, not a bad drink, but probably not worth the price..

Smooth and worth a try at a relatively reasonable price.

Smooth like the name. A good contrast to the spicier bourbons that I have.

Sweet scent of candied red apple and melted caramel followed by hints of cinnamon and jalapeño. On the palate, a rich textured bourbon with tastes of cherry, oak, burnt sugar and cayenne.

Not a bad wheated bourbon at all. Has some sweet with a good finish and burn. Oaky taste at finish.

I’m a fan of wheated bourbons in general. This one is quite nice but not great value for money.
