A rich, Rye Whiskey by Adam Spiegel Sonoma Distilling Company in Sonoma, California bottled at 46.5% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, cooked fruit, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich life adds notes of rye spice, dried apricot, ripe cherry & mint; that led to a warm death of medium length with notes of vanilla, allspice, white pepper, cinnamon, burnt brown sugar, walnut & cherrywood smoke. Deep malty aroma. Smells like you were sniffing a field of wheat. Taste is the same, like chewing on cereal grains, a rye kick, quite a rich body. Enjoyable, but the field flavor is a bit overpowering.

Nose: cedar, bright red fruit, cough syrup, walnuts Palate: cheery cough syrup, mixed nuts Finish: oak, red pepper flake With water: intensifies the nuttiness (Flaviar Advent Calendar)

Nose: cherry, sweet, cotris Body: sweet, spice, anise Finish: light, pepper, aome heat

Cherry, all spice, white pepper, and rye on the nose. It's also a bit astringent. The palate is rich and spicy with notes of vanilla and cherry. The finish is long with spice and rye.
