Stauning Rye

I wasn’t a fan of the chocolate and mint flavors

Excellent Rye, very smooth, almost buttery. I would buy again.

Pretty much just tastes spicy, and is almost spicier than a chili-whiskey I have at home. Not much taste hidden beneath the spice, though the oak does shine through.

Nose: Bright and bold with notes of fresh rye bread, caramel, vanilla, and a touch of orchard fruit. Palate: Full-bodied and spicy, with layers of cinnamon, toasted oak, honey, and a hint of dark chocolate. Finish: Long and warming, with lingering rye spice, sweet vanilla, and a touch of herbal freshness.
