Masterclass in balance. The nose opens with fine oak, orange marmalade, dark raisins, bitter chocolate, and a beautiful muffin-like pastry note, all carried by an aroma that feels polished and deeply integrated. On the palate, it is silky, elegant, and remarkably composed, with very little spice, no bitterness, and none of the menthol note that can ruin other sherried whiskies for me. The finish is very long, just dry enough, and full of class. This is a sherried malt with real refinement, where wood, fruit, pastry, and structure all work in harmony. A truly masterful whisky. 98/100
