Reviewed March 1, 2025 (edited March 4, 2025)Nose is vanille, dark toffee and a whiff of orange marmalade. Go too deep and the ethanol wipes out anything else. Palate opens with brown sugar and vanilla, but then briefly shows dark cherries and red berry jam before abruptly jumping to a barrel spice and cinnamon close. Starts smooth and ends a bit hot. This is a decent all-rounder that scratches that itch when you don’t really know what you want, because it (very briefly) touches most of the quality bourbon flavors we know and love. All in all it’s pretty ok, but for $50, there’s an awful lot of ‘pretty ok’ competitors that are both cheaper and arguably better. -
