The palate has a little bit too much of the sweet baked apple flavors for me. Not as woody and astringent has I expect from rye whiskeys. Probably good in cocktails, but not one that I will reach for to drink neat.

Excellent straight up. A little warm on the front. Nice and sweet on the back end.
