Reviewed July 3, 2022Nose- Baking spice, barrel char, cinnamon, and an herbal note (maybe cardamom or dill). Palate- It leads with oak and a whisper of smoke that fades into a sweetness that is reminiscent of a cinnamon strudel. This fades into a dry rye spice. Finish- Warm and lingering. It just doesn’t want to let go. The finish is peppery similar to lightly cracked black and white peppercorn. Overall, this is an excellent and complex rye. It punches well above its price point. This is an excellent example of how complex rye can be. Every whiskey drinker should try this.54.99 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 21, 2022 (edited June 30, 2022)Heard lots of positive things about this one so I had to pick one up when I found it for a good price. Nose is kinda spicy with cinnamon and some other baking spices. A little bit of sweetness as well. Palette is quite interesting, its spicy, slightly sweet with a bit of chocolate notes, and as some others have pointed out, I oddly enough get some hint of pickle brine which is not as bad as I thought it would be. Finish is pretty smooth with a small amount of heat as it goes down. This bottle did not disappoint at all.59.99 USD per Bottle
