On the nose there are hints of cherry and buter scotch. On the palate there is a hint of caramel and butterscotch. Being 100 proof gives it a medium finish. This whiskey does well in cocktails (I prefer it this way as oppsed to neat) such as the old fashioned and boulevardier.

Thin and bland witha very short finish. Makes you wonder if this is actually vodka briefly finished in oak.

To the eye: Deep amber Nose:Caramel, maple and oak Palate: initially, there heat is heat which evolves into a coating mouthfeel, that reveals, maple, oak, leather and then chocolate for a long finish. A drop of water opens it up smoothing out the heat revealing cream, vanilla and more baking spice.

Eye:Deep Amber Nose:Raisins, tea, brown sugar Palate:caramel,tea,peanuts,oak This is a mild sipping rye with a mild nose and finish. I would definitely recommend if you prefer whiskey that is easy drinking. If not I’d recommend trying it in a bar first.

Eye:Honey Nose:light hint of caramel Palate:Cinnamon,clove,caramel I find this rye to be light on the scents and flavors I find enjoyable in rye whiskey. This one comes across a bot young, a bit astringent. The hint of baking spice and caramel is far too fleeting. The finish leaves you with a hint of bitterness that isn’t too pleasant. I recommend trying this in a bar before buying a bottle.
