Tastes

Soooo good. Fruity and spicy with hints of that bourbon carameliness underneath.

Definitely interesting. Reminds me of the smell of a marina for some reason.

Very tasty. Deep salted caramel, but with a lot of flavors to tease out.

Very sweet. Lots of cherry and coke on the nose. Taste is all butterscotch and caramel.

More alcohol burn than I was expecting. Sweet like a bourbon, but a bit more floral.

Nose: Briny and smokey with hints of lime? Smells like a mezcal honestly. Taste: Not a fan. It’s smoky, but not in the way that Islays are. The smoke is all in the finish and it’s such a dry acrid kind of smoke.

Nose: Pears and apples with a little bit of wood. Taste: Really dry. Predominantly woody. The apples and pears are they, but they take a back seat.

Nose: Not a ton. Pretty burny. Kind of a buttery fruit smell. Like an apple cobbler without any cinnamon. Taste: So smooth. Initially hits with a lot of sweetness, but then rounds out with some fruitiness and that butter taste. The finish is just a long, gentle woodiness.

Nose: citrus. Hints of cream and vanilla. For some reason it’s difficult to sniff. Like I have to back off a lot which is surprising for a 43%. Taste: pretty flat taste. A bit sweet and woody. I really like the burn on this one. It gently blooms over ~10s and is really nice.
