Hint of corn and cinnamon on the nose, with a sweet grain on the palate. Smooth, grainy finish that stays with you for a few minutes.

Floral with sandalwood on the nose, taste is warm and oaky with honey and spices, and a simple smooth finish.

Carmel, leather, and a berry hint on the nose. Taste: cinnamon, oak and grains hit on the taste until it hits the back of your throat when the heat comes in. Nice up front punch and warms the whole way down but the burn doesn't continue. Very good sub $50 Barrel proof.

Disclaimer: When you're approaching the $200 mark, I don't take price into account unless we're talking extremely good, or extremely bad value. That being said... I get a nutty oak upfront on the nose; walnut maybe, with alcohol fume seeping through if you take a deep breath. Taste is sweetened oak... Hint of cherry with Earthy undertones. Not as much burn as the nose lets on... Wonderful, lasting finish that just warms on the way down.

Nose: medium cherry, with some apricot, or pear. Taste: a lightly charred oak and smoked cherrys on the finish... The finish is short and sweet; fades away quicker than you'd prefer.

Buttery cinnamon and a hint of apple brighten the nose. Rye, oak, and barley hit the taste buds right before a small bite, and smooth creamy finish. Another great offering from Michters.

Not sure if I got an odd batch, but there's a pleated cherry on the nose... More peat and oak on the taste and finish. Not thin, but not creamy either... Overall, not great. The small batch was better.

Smooth, a little alcohol on the tongue, smooth finish. Recommend.

Cherry and vanilla with a sweetness on the nose and a heavy oak background. Taste immediately more complex than the nose let's on. More cherries and and silky oak. Little more burn than I expected from a sub-100 proof, but more than makes up for it with a smooth creamy finish.
