A 21 year old scotch for $86.99. That’s a steal. Plus it’s really good. You can totally taste its age. It’s spicier and the sweetness is well rounded. The only other sweet whiskey I’ve experienced that has that quality was Highland Park 18. For notes I got caramel, toffee, butterscotch and the finish is heavy caramel with pepper. I thoroughly enjoyed sipping this beautifully balanced scotch that didn’t break my bank. Can’t wait to try it again.

I had this right after a cask strength sherry bomb, so I assume a lot of sweet flavors were buried. I mainly got the oak and spice. Need to have it first and give it a proper review. But I still experienced the hefty body with strong flavors.

Wow! An explosion of rich dark fruit. Strong cherry, plums, raisins and the body is bold and oily. Delicious! Also a bit of walnut and almost rye like strong spice finish. It’s hard to break it down because of the high proof. The almost 120 proof is no joke. But I keep going back to the cask strengths because there’s so much to explore in these. Need to get me bottle.

A very young scotch and you can taste it. Too sweet and has a funky ripe fruit note, maybe from the burgundy cask . I didn’t like it straight, on rocks it’s bearable.

134 proof, Woah! Explosion of favors. Nose is intense molasses, cherry, cinnamon and oak with dark chocolate, orange and coffee. Flavors are all that cranked up to one hundred with bite and sweet brown sugar after taste that lingers for a long time. What a beautiful whiskey. I only got to enjoy a dram. I need to get my hands on a bottle so I can explore the nuances of this cask strength.

Love the nose on AN OA. Taste is great too. The brisket smoke and peppery spices are dominant. Once you pass that you get the sweet butterscotch and a metallic note. It’s a beautiful whisky.

You can taste how young this scotch is. Wasn’t a big fan of it, but with a mixer I think it will hold up pretty good.

It’s not bad. Just like drinking a black label.

Not bad for the budget price. A typical speyside. Honey malty thus very sweet finish. I’d buy it again.

I enjoyed this on a tasting session and I got the oak, cinnamon and maple syrup. Need to explore more. Looking forward to purchasing a bottle even though it’s a bit pricey.
