Honey, oak, and rye on the nose. Color is light honey. Flavor is trending towards rye. Subtle caramel and vanilla, a touch of burn, and some corn liquor in the finish. Not bad for the price, but still rough on the edges.

Some corn aroma, as well as vanilla. Flavor is either timid or refined at first with some corn in the finish

Nice rye character. This whiskey is a touch hot, and if you sample first it's very reminiscent of bourbon, but sampling after bourbon you notice how much rye is there. For the price it's not bad, but there are certainly better bottles.

Distilled 4/9/15 bottled 5/13/19. Barrel 15-2701 party source private barrel. 112.5 proof. Some corn and rye in the aroma. Flavor is rye heavy, with oak, and a good amount of heat. With a little water the flavor mellows a little, but the rye character is still present, with a nice spice and vanilla flavor.

Oak, vanilla, and caramel at first. A little hot tasting for the proof. Some nice butter notes, and the finish has some heat.

Not bad for a blender. Interesting character, smooth with notes of short bread, and toasted oak. Perhaps not the greatest scotch in the world, but historically interesting and a good sip.

Higher abv on the nose. Nice oak and vanilla, but a tad rough, but for the price and age that tracks. For $20 it is a great house whiskey, for $30 bucks it's not a deal anymore.

Super sweet.
