Allocated bottle for under $40, so had to try I guess. Heavy-handed nose, full of blood fruits with an underlying dank sweetness that gives way to leather and cinnamon. Pallet follows suit. A good find. Upon further tasting, what I had called 'blood fruits' I now believe to be a wet oak/leather vibe. Whatever. All good.

Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 10, 2020 (edited August 26, 2020)All the good rye stuff with a toasted sweetness added on. Maybe a bit mellow on the rye-ness for those who are really into ryes, but it suits me well. -
7/12/2020. Sweet, but not overly so. Smooth; nice profile. It was a sample and I don't travel, so that's that. I enjoyed it and wish I had a couple more pours. If I were to see it on the shelves, I would consider a purchase - depends on $$ of course. $35 would be a fair price. Much much better than Jura 10
