Jefferson's Reserve Pritchard Hill Cabernet Cask Finish
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 9, 2020Definitely get the wine cask. Sweet and smooth. Sipping after Nikka whiskey from the barrel, which was strong on peat to me, so the sweetness of this was pronounced. More bourbon finish and lingering flavors. A nice sipper neat, very smooth. Probably a good introductory bourbon with a sweeter profile and no burn. -
Hancock's President's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 24, 2019Tasting a private barrel selection from Party Source. Better than expected, with smooth caramel and vanilla notes. Surprised with the higher rye mash bill as it excited the front of my tongue. It takes a lot of chomping to excite the sides of my tongue. Taste and feel lingers in the mouth for a pleasant amount of time. Not much throat warmth, but impressed my the mouth. Overall pleasantly surprised and enjoying this bottle! -
Nose was thinner than expected. Some citrus notes. Strong prickly spice in front half of mouth. Subtle amount of burn. Spiciness persists long after swallow, with flavors remaining concentrated forward in the mouth - not a lot of throat warmth. Left with citrus notes mixed with pepper.25.0 USD per PourOld Talbott Tavern

Coopers' Craft Original 82.2 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed June 28, 2019Thin, young. Reminiscent of cola on the nose and pallete. Overall disappointed that it was not more prominent with oak considering the dedication to their cooperage. -
Lighter colored bourbon - appears quite young. The nose pops with alcohol and spices, cinnamon and cloves. In the mouth it is more earthy than expected. Spices are still present while alcohol is more subdued. Expands quickly in the mouth, and unfortunately also fades quickly. Faint whiskey flavor lingers. Glad I tried it, but probably won't buy another. Going on the tasting shelf for others to try. Better than a mixer, but not a regular or special occasion sipper.

Tasting following a Rock Hill Farm and a Black & Blue burger, so may be some carryover from those.... Dark Amber appearance, as would be expected for 25 years in the barrel. Warm, pleasant nose with vanilla, light caramel and oak. Sweet up front then fully expanding to fill your mouth with a smooth spice experience.Very nice balance, no burn, with a medium long finish in the mouth. actually builds as it lingers, then fades. Not heavy or long in the throat to my surprise. very enjoyable, sippable bourbon. if I could buy a bottle, I would, and save it for a special occasion with special friends.Stock & Barrel
