Dark dark color. Such sticky legs in the glass. Nose: Molasses’s syrup, deep rich oak, Brown sugar, cumin. Brown butter. Similar notes on palate. Smooth but a deep barrel spice makes an appearance. Finish is just nice syrup lingering syrupy flavors.

After this bottle has opened up for a month it has become one of my favorites! Nose has rich Carmel and baking spices. Just smells like really good mature bourbon. Great rich flavors of baking spices and typical bourbon notes on palate. Medium body but the right amount of barrel spice and decently long finish

Neck pour. Really enjoyed this one! Very complex nose showing expected bourbon notes plus whiffs of chocolate, cherries, and less typical baking spices. Overall I loved the darker tone to this one. Palate was very good with plenty of bite and spice but balanced and rich deep flavors. Didn’t quite get the chocolate on the palate which was disappointing but we’ll see as the bottle opens up over time.

This was good. Had whiskey lactone notes that headed in the scotch direction but then balanced back out to bourbon pleasantness at just the right time

It’s Weller Special Reserve, at full proof, smooth and delicious. A great pour but far over hyped. I think I’d be more excited if it had more age on it like a full proof Weller 12. Bring out more of the fruit notes.

Idk about this one. Had a scotch-esque note is just didn’t love. Wasn’t bad but didn’t strike me like a bourbon should.

Nose: smooth vanilla and clove. Some very faint cherry. Palate: sweet, smooth typical bourbon flavors give way to baking spices then a pop of the vanilla and clove from the nose comes into play. Nice and enough complexity but little light is the proof and punch. Finish: flavors linger a while light spice but a little muted for my preference.

Bright and zesty fruity notes stand out on top of a base of smooth corn oil and standard bourbon notes. Bright vibrant flavors in the palate as well with blossoming spice rush. Borderline too much alcohol spice. Younger age shows in small ways but overall this is a good very enjoyable sip.

Vanilla Carmel eucalyptus on nose. Same on palate. Lots of spice in the palate as well. Finish is long. Overall it’s a nice enjoyable sip without a load of complexity but plenty of balance and bite and I like the sweet eucalyptus notes.
