Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 22, 2016 (edited October 27, 2016)All the makings of a cinnamon raisin bagel; brown sugar, toasted raisins, and muted cinnamon spice. An excellent amount of depth on a cheap cheap bottle. -
Eastside Cherry Bomb Whiskey
Flavored Whiskey — Oregon, USA
Reviewed February 22, 2016 (edited March 11, 2016)A little over the edge in terms of sweetness for my liking, but it makes a hell of a replacement for things like grenadine or maraschino liqueur in cocktails. -
Eastside Marionberry Whiskey
Flavored Whiskey — Oregon, USA
Reviewed February 22, 2016 (edited July 12, 2017)As someone who rarely dips their nose into the realm of flavored whiskeys, I can honestly say this is pretty enjoyable. Sweet and fruity, who'd of guessed, up front, with a bourbon vanilla on the finish. Just fine with some soda and lime. -
Bastille 1789 Blended Whisky
Blended — Cognac, France

A shocking amount of flavor for a rum of this price. Fruity Pebbles and green banana on the nose. The palate kicks off with an interesting funkiness, followed by lingering honeydew. ln a world where most people take cheap rums and drown them in fruit juices and sugar, this guy is just fine on its own or with a splash of soda and a wedge of lime.
