Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
Flavored Whiskey — USA
Reviewed June 26, 2020 (edited July 14, 2020)Definitely need to be in the right mood for this one. Good sipper for someone who isn’t ready for traditional whiskey. Honestly, more of a dessert than anything but I kind of knew that going into it. Overall, not bad but I probably won’t reach for it often. Just too sweet for me -
For what it is, this is actually pretty good. Obviously it smells and tastes like coffee but I also got loads of vanilla and a hint of dark chocolate. That being said, it does taste a little to artificial for me and I consider this more of a novelty than anything else. It is however good for those early mornings or perhaps hunting camp!!

I have to admit I am impressed with this rye. It packs tons of flavor right from the nose into the palate but it’s not the rye that shines. It’s there for sure but I get A strong sweet oak with just a touch of smoke. My bottle looks slightly different than the one pictured, it no longer says “straight rye whiskey” just “rye whiskey” and says it is a blend of straight rye whiskeys but everything else is the same. Still aged 10 years and my bottle is from batch A/354. This bottle exceeded my expectations a lot and I am so glad I took the chance given some mediocre reviews I’ve read.74.99 USD per BottleStompers Beverage

Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 23, 2020 (edited May 19, 2020)All around solid pour. I actually don’t see a huge advantage to springing for the single barrel over this. Obviously those vary but I think this is just as good and usually at least $20 cheaper per bottle.34.99 USD per Bottle -
High West Rendezvous Rye
Rye — (bottled in) Utah, USA
Reviewed April 19, 2020 (edited April 21, 2020)Just opened up my bottle that’s from a 2017 batch. It’s got a rather boring nose, not a whole lot going on. The palate was super spicy but not very much rye flavor. The rye is definitely there but it’s not as pronounced as I was expecting. I’ve always loved their double rye so I had high hopes for this one. As of now, I think I prefer the double rye which isn’t a huge problem I guess because it’s cheaper anyway. I’ll give it a few weeks to open up and see if anything changes. By no means bad but I had higher expectations.64.99 USD per Bottle -
I got a lot of the rye spice in this but not a whole lot of the rye flavor. It is good but I think it is priced right also. Probably not something I would reach for often when I want something special but I wouldn’t feel bad finishing the bottle either. Overall a good purchase but nothing stands out to me on this!29.99 USD per Bottle

I will start off by saying I love what this company stands for but I’m not so sure about this one. The nose is probably what I enjoyed most but it tasted extremely young! Not bad but definitely young! It’s drinkable but should be priced at around $20 in my opinion. Probably won’t reach for another bottle when I finish this one.29.99 USD per BottleStompers Beverage
