A lot more rye comes through on this than a typical rye and is a ver easy drinker. Good buy at this price point.

Just an all around great bourbon! This review was from barrel no. 806 aged just under 8 years. One of the best bangs for your buck out there!

Hands down my favorite Irish Whiskey!

Really good stuff and the finish comes through quite well. I’m not convinced it was worth the extra cost but it is delicious and I don’t use cost for my ratings.

Yes it’s young and yes it tastes young but it is also very smooth. The fact that it is young doesn’t necessarily mean it is bad. You get a lot of more the raw sweet corn flavor and is just a different profile than most bourbons. It takes me back to visiting the distilleries and trying all the “white whiskey” at each one every time I sip on this. Not to mention it is a very cost effective option to have! They know and describe that this is young when you visit them but it is their unique process that enables them to have such a smooth young whiskey. You have to expect that flavor profile to be able to properly enjoy and appreciate this.

Just opened a fresh bottle aged 8 yrs 6 months. It is good but nothing really stands out as spectacular. I will try it again after letting the bottle open up for a little bit and see if there are any major changes

Really good pour, big bold flavors all around. The alcohol is present but not overpowering at all, I actually really enjoy it.

Got this bottle because of all of the hype it was getting and being a great “deal”. Personally I just don’t get it, not a fan. Had an off putting taste that I can’t seem to describe but was always there. This is the third time trying it because I was hoping my taste buds were off but still a no go for me. A permanent mixer from now on and I will not buy again.

Maybe a touch more fruity but not much if at all any different than the regular bottle of Blanton’s I compared it to. Either way, delicious!

By far the best Rye I’ve had to date! Was lucky enough to be able to get a bottle when I visited the distiller last fall. I had to choose between this and the bourbon 10 year because I didn’t have the funds to buy both. Went to the bar upstairs tried them both and went with this. My bottle is from barrel no 19F978. Finally cracked it open tonight and I am not disappointed in my decision in the slightest!
