Surprisingly floral. Great warmth with black pepper and leather early on.

It’s been far too long my dear friend. Such a great balance of heat, flavor, and finish. Nose is sweet, soft oak and caramel. Heat is upfront along with sweet vanilla and caramel. Classic oily mouth feel this provides an awesome finish. I get some leather and licorice on the back end. I just wish it was easier to find!

Pretty solid value Irish whiskey. Surprisingly warm backend. I get the buttery vanilla flavor right away. A little oak flavor. Definitely tastes like the prototypical Irish whiskeys.

First impression: very smooth! Wheat and oak up front and a very interesting spice combination that follows. I get some cinnamon, licorice, pepper, and anise. Nice oily finish that lasts awhile.

Great value bourbon! Don’t see it very often, but I will pick it up when I see it. Very palatable heat for such a high proof. Nice oily finish. Vanilla and tobacco flavor through out. Rather simple profile, but strong flavor.

I was pretty stoked when I caught a glimpse of this $30 10 year bourbon. I will say it’s not my typical profile I aim for. Very brown sugar and caramel forward. I appreciate the little rye, because otherwise it would be too sweet. I get the Caribbean spice and more brown sugar with the finish. Overall, phenomenal value and something I hope to keep on hand for friends/family that can’t take the heat of my typical ryes.

Vanilla through and through. Nice long finish. There’s a little burnt caramel at the end. Very soft and smooth for the proof.

Cool story bourbon. Nose: vanilla and oak. Very woody throughout in the flavor. Tastes a little ethanol early. But finishes with nice vanilla and cherry.

Batch no.16: 118.5 proof Nose is modest for a bourbon that carries that much bunch. Some oak is the predominant scent. That oak carries through with throughout. Warm as expected from a cask strength. Subtle vanilla and tobacco flavor towards the tail end.

Loads of vanilla on the nose along with some maple. Nice and hot which does well for a rye guy. More grain flavor than I expected. Some tobacco flavor as well. Medium finish with some black pepper and cinnamon.
