Nose - vanilla cream and citrus, sweet baked goods Palate - delicious mouthfeel, hits you with heat immediately, rich, oily, creamy, spicy, sweet, vanilla and caramel apples, with citrus and rye flavors predominate, ends with baking spices and oak notes Finish - long and warm 58.36% ABV. superb and unique bourbon, especially for an MGP product

Nose - toasted rye spices, notes of baked cinnamon rolls, hints of char come through Palate - oily and rich, more vanilla cream flavors than I would have expected with a rye, classic rye flavors with spices and woody notes shine out at the end Finish - medium to long with good amount of warmth This is a great rye whiskey. One of the best ones that are readily available.

Nose - notes of oak and dried fruit Palate - rich and sweet, more complex than its younger sibling with the same mashbill Buffalo trace, notes of caramel apples, citrus, cloves, baking spices and wood Finish - medium with some warmth Great 90 proof bourbon for the MSRP price

Nose - caramel apples, nothing too strong or unique Palate - sweet but not overpowering, notes of vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, rye spices, some faint oaky notes at the end Finish - little bit of warmth, quick to medium length finish I don’t usually reach for this one, but it is not bad for a $25 bottle. Packs a respectable amount of flavor for 90 proof

Nose - softer on the nose than the FAE-01, notes predominantly of vanilla and toasted oak Palate - stellar chewy mouthfeel, toasted fruity palate, sweet and spicy flavors of oak, finishes on predominantly woody notes Finish - long and warm FAE-01 wins the head-to-head battle due to complexity and taste, but FAE-02 is a solid complement
