A 12 yr. bottled at 43% ABV. No info I could find about filtering or color. Color: Nose: Campfire, medicinal, cherry, honey, cola, pear Palate: Wood smoke, lemon zest, cherry cough drop Finish: Sweet, sour, short to medium length This is the whisky that got me into peated whisky. Overall, the peat is not overpowering and there is a good red fruit to complement the smoke and citrus flavors.

Color: Chestnut/ Oloroso Sherry Nose: Musty, resin, baked pear, hint of apple. Adding water brings out perfume and lessens the pear. Taste: Sweetness upfront, astringency in the back, light and watery on the palette. Adding water brings out a less desirable astringency and perfume. Finish: Short, uneventful
