Balvenie The Sweet Toast of American Oak 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed December 14, 2019I would get this as an easy to drink, spicy whiskey all on its own. Because it is so spicy it doesn’t taste too sweet to me. But it isn’t very complicated. Maybe a good mixer for a spicy cocktail. -
Yellow Spot 12 Year Single Pot Still
Single Pot Still — Ireland
Reviewed December 4, 2019 (edited December 17, 2019)Sooo easy to drink. A lot of flavors in a sip. Not as sweet or as fruity as profile implies. Drinks well in its own. -
Teeling Single Grain Whiskey
Single Grain — Ireland
Reviewed December 4, 2019 (edited March 14, 2020)It smells really sweet, like toffee. It tastes like a sharp hit of alcohol up front and then is really mild overall. Then it gets really boring.
