Tastes

Warm, toasted rye, citrus, a little sour/bitter, salty and woody.

Smells a bit sweet and with a little sour. The taste isn’t very sweet and there is a sour note to it, like the aroma of the mash/raw barley. I can’t decide how I feel about it...I think I like it.

It smells herbal and a little bitter at the back of my throat. It tastes light and finishes a little more bitter than it smells, which is nice. It’s not too spicy and maybe a little salty.

Sweet oaky flavor, burns quite a bit, not very complex. Again probably a good mixer.

Harsh burn neat that covers up everything else. I like it a lot more with water. It removes some heat so I can taste orange and spice and a little sour/bitter. Probably much better as a mixer.

Light whiskey flavor in a moonshine. Warm, buttery. A little floral and salty maybe. A lot of burn at first but a nice smooth finish.

Big citrus and green herbaceous aroma. Almost like gin. Tastes like it smells. Seriously citrus and fresh, herbal. A little sour and sharp. Fresh, complex, goes lightly sweet at the end. I like this a lot, which is surprising. I think it would be an amazing mixer.

Great smokey aroma. Smoke and dark cherry. Rich and really smooth. Faint peat flavor.

Light aroma; can’t really smell the smoke. Mildly smokey flavor. Sweet toasted caramel. Aftertaste lingers and is really nice. Easy middle of the road drinking, probably a good mixer.
