Making spices and cinnamon on the nose, and the flavors match. Huge cinnamon kick on top of a solid oak base. Not super sweet, but that's ok. Delicious, balanced fairly well, wish it was richer. Still well done, but cinnamon admittedly isn't my favorite.

Spicy, but super thin. As spicy as a rye might be without that herbal kick. Without the body its mostly burn, I think this might work in cocktails but that's probably it.

Tastes stronger than 46%, it's got fire and kick. Not unpleasant though, there's strong vanilla caramel sweetness, accented with wheat and malty cereal flavors. Medium thin body, tail disappears pretty quickly but I think that's the burn eating it. Good, enjoyable, but unbalanced.

Tastes like a sweet desert, birthday cake but with a sparkle, like champagne or Chardonnay. White wine flavors in with the sweetness. Definitely not flavors I've ever encountered with anything Irish, tastes almost Japanese. Intriguing.

Everything about this is textbook bourbon (in a good way) with less caramel and more malt and barely. Cereal grains dominate with the vanilla and oak, medium body, finishes clean.

Aroma is beautifully sweet, complex and thick, maple syrup but with a tang of something else. Red wine sweetness is there for sure. It's a rush of flavor on the tongue, matching the aroma well. Smoky with tannin bitterness underneath the sweet wave, quite rich, tingly tail that's a little peppery. Almost perfection, just like always from Westland. Wonderful.

Sweetness overload. Vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, just all sugar. Rich enough to carry the sweetness, and tastes well made. But a little much for me.

Some oak on the nose but the aroma is masked by burn. Flavor is very nice, a light wood flavor with underlying vanilla sweetness. It kinda tastes like if Japan tried to make a bourbon. It's got those classic bourbon flavors with that lighter taste I usually get from Japanese. Very rich and creamy, quite nice.

a good cask strength, nothing special about it. Wish there was more depth.

Warneinger mesquite cask strength You'll never believe this, but mesquite dominates the flavor and aroma. It's rich enough to carry it, super rich and creamy, with a good amount of spice on the tail. Tastes like barbeque, but done well.
