Tastes

Deep peat aroma, dry and charcoal. Not wet like laprhoaig would be. Almost ashy. Not as much peat initially on the hit, it's actually quite balanced. Classic scotch sweetness with the peat coming in on the tail like a truck. Powerful, spicy, but leaning more smoke than peat. Charcoal and campfire, still enjoyable.

Deep rich aroma, wine and plum, dark fruit and port. Flavor is an assault, power and burn, sweet and tannins, you can taste the concentration of the heat the barrels are matured in. This is everything I love in a whiskey with a wine twist, it's absolutely perfect

Aroma is vanilla and honey but the flavor is a JOURNEY. The initial vanilla hit melts into all the casks it's finished in, sweet rum, almost a little tart, the tannins of the Cabernet, it's rich and just melts. Tingly burn to accent it, but the wood and tannins complexity are beautiful. Magnifique.

Honey nut Cheerios. Honey but also nutty. Everything here is in the tail. Rich and full, initial caramel honey hit then all sweet on the tail. Beauty honey bloom that lingers forever. Texas doesn't know how to make whiskey but this is fantastic.

Smells positively heavenly. Complex almost like cognac. Almond and honey. Flavor is the same honestly, if I didn't know any better I'd say I was drinking cognac. Not quite as sweet for sure. Super weird and cool but loses points for not tasting like whiskey.

Bright flavor, tons of barely and fermentation coming through. Graham cracker, little bit of caramel and honey. Interesting blend, a little sweet and a little light. Flavors are interesting and stand out but lacks depth.

Wood, power, touch of apice, well balanced, a little thin. Still lovely.

Sweet caramel and fruit aroma, can't place it. The flavors are all wood though, tastes like a double oak kick though I know it's not. Love the power, has a bit of a sparkling tail which is suprising but not unpleasant. Love it.

Dark sweet aroma j can't place. Flavor is complex, deep and rich wood and vanilla with a strong note of peaches, complete with the tang and not just the sweetness. Richness blends all the flavors together. Absolutely love this. So cool
