Copperwork American Single Malt Release No. 42
Peated Single Malt — Seattle, Wa, USA
Reviewed May 15, 2022Molasses and heaven on the nose. Smells fantastic. Flavor is deep peat, with an underlying sweetness. Oily, rich, mild spice, but just perfect briny smoke from the Ardbeg finish. Magnificent. Almost a little too sweet and rich to drink for too long. -
Sagamore Spirit Cask Strength Straight Rye
Rye — Indiana (bottled in Maryland), USA
Reviewed May 15, 2022Deep beautiful spicy smell. Rye hit is mild, medium rich and incredibly well balanced. Some sweetness before alcohol kick at the end. One of the better ryes I've had. -
Amador Double Barrel Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Chardonnay Barrels
Bourbon — USA
Reviewed May 11, 2022Syrupy strong aroma, like frosting or cake. Sweet vanilla kick to the face, very creamy. Dessert in a glass. The vanilla fades into the oak and Chardonnay tail, carries that wine flavor for a while.
