Tastes

Definite oat aroma, mixed with syrupy sweet. Heavy caramel flavors, super sweet and rich. There's an herbal tail that's interesting and bright, contrasts the sweetness well. Overall falls flat for me though.

Aroma is super hoppy as you'd expect, lots of pine tree. Flavor is just as sharp as the aroma, acetone, pine needles, hops, and green. Tastes super artificial, and much closer to bad aquavit than whiskey. I kinda hate it. Original at least.

Dark caramel, tobacco, some fruit. Fiery, but with enough richness to cut it. Love the power, competes with 101 at the price point for me, they give me the same vibe.

Some oak and spice, underlying vanilla sweetness. Groundwork is all there, would do well with richness to carry everything. Burn comes in a little strong. A little above average and great for the price.

Light caramel aroma. Some wood spice. Heaaaavy caramel sweetness, almost syrupy sweet. A little overpowering, a little bit of toffee tail. Medium body, richness works with the caramel, but too sweet for me.

Lighter flavors, graham cracker and honey. Pretty standard Tennessee bourbon, above average but punching pretty well above it's weight for price.

Heavy caramel aroma, sweet and syrupy. Maybe some subtle wine tannins too. Caramel is there on the tongue, but with some grape and citrus blended in perfectly. Lemon is more noticable on the tail. Excellent balance, the proof and acidity might be a little intense together though. Tail comes off a little harsh, but still well done.

Oak and faint caramel aroma. Subtle. Flavor is also rather subtle, medium-light richness with some nice oak and sweetness. Sweet flavor is distinct, but not too strong. Caramel underneath, oak and spice on top. Some more body would've done it some good. Spice and alcohol burn stick around for a tail but there isn't much there to carry it.

Sharp Green aroma, not Irish grassy but like fresh cut lawn grass. Actually pretty bad. Flavor is also green, acetone, sharp alcohol hit. Some young wood buried in there, better than Canadian, but still truly unenjoyable.

Dark barley flavors, heavy vanilla.
