Deep rich aroma, nutty like almonds or peanuts. Some barley, some wheat. Flavor is dry and bitter, not really medicinal but wood bitter and alcohol bite on top from the BiB. The tail some dark chocolate shows up though, with some wheat spice. Quite nice. Needs richness, like their port cask, but still enjoyable.50.0 USD per BottleGrandTen Distilling

I absolutely hate the nose. There's a sharp aroma here of something I don't like, like sour milk or something. Maybe an herb I can't identify? Maybe that's what unmalted grain smells like and I just hate it. Flavor dominates the tongue too, some citrus but that same sour sharp note that just isn't for me. Really don't like it, but at least it isn't Canadian. Its obviously sourced since Boston cant make an Irish whisky, and the bartender didnt seem to impressed by it either.GrandTen Distilling

Nose smells like the glass is full of dry wheat or barley. Super strong, quite nice. Flavor is a huge hit of the nose, dry wheat to the point of bitterness. Earthy, woody, medium thin body, like chewing on a wheat field. Much better than their American whiskey, but a little off balance to be super enjoyable.Bully Boy Distillers

Ardbeg Anthology: The Harpy's Tale
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed July 7, 2024 (edited September 16, 2024)Peat has a slight barbeque tang to it, smoky campfire with an extra zest. Also kind of sparkling, which is an interesting combo with smoke . Another solid ardbeg expression to add to the list. Very enjoyable. The Barrel Thief
