Taste: Sweet pastry start, with a light salt and hay, then a strong honey and bright wood finish. Experience: it's like eating baklava by the ocean. Taste: peppery spice, fruit, unsweetened cherry, nutmeg, with a fresh mint finish. Experience: It's fall in a small town square after a light rain. Reviewed September 9, 2018 (edited September 16, 2018)Nose: peat, slight B.O. apricot, brine. Taste: Burnt toast, honey, green apple. Experience: For being "heavily peated" this is a refreshing Islay. Sort of like when the sun is shining even though it is raining heavily. -

Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed September 4, 2018 (edited September 16, 2018)Nose: Light smoke, juicy citrus, slight toffee, chocolate, horchata even. Taste: Butter, apple, molasses, waxy raisin, and almonds. A surprising amount of wood, spice. Experience: Putting out the fireplace after a Christmas party. Dull spices and sweets line the air from events of the night. They mingle with some smoke but just that of an extinguished flame, or your grandfather's pipe residue. Bonus: pour a small amount of a peated Scotch and another speyside. Take turns smelling one then Fire and Cane you will find that the smoke will disappear or get stronger based on what you smell before. Fun!55.0 USD per Bottle -

Puppy love. A highshcol sweet heart. It is that moment where you like something without needing to understand why. Will it last? Not likely. Is it superficial? Probably. Are there more meaningful relationships to be had? Totally. But damnit if you don't love it at the time. It's one of the friendliest whiskeys you can find. Even at room temperature it tastes cool to the pallet. I see why so many people recommend it as a gateway to whiskey.65.0 USD per Bottle -
Nose: pear, apple, vanilla, spices, jolly ranchers. Taste: sweetness, cinnamon, a hint of nutmeg, cereal, wood at the end. Experience: The black bottle and unknown casks gives Project XX a mysterious tone. The contents of the bottle do the same.
