Well, at 33$ I was willing to try. Not as good as I had hoped, but that’s ok. Fruit first with floral and vanilla. Medium hold with a taste of unrefined burn too. It is just so-so and won’t get again.

Best I’ve tried ever. Better than nikka, shevkoff ultra, sickle&hammer, Chopin. Smooth viscous mouth feel. Velvet. Great for sipping or light citrus.

Good rum. Not as good as reserva excluseva. Thus I won’t get it again. Still searching for a great white rum.

I struggle to find a place for this. Wow is it a smack in the face. Floater for tropical is where it is now. Not a straight up sipper. Sharp, spice, raw sugar molasses. I will use but not get again, it is too much spice to enjoy smooth.

Cherry flavored benzoin. It is horrible. Yes, marzipan, some herbal, so medicinal. Put in a cocktail it overpowers- use less and the taint is still there. Yuck I will never use it and will end up dumping this. Sorry everyone, this one strikes a sensory revulsion in me.

Honestly was looking for a good coffee mixer as I was stuck on rumchatta. Not that impressed, almond had a burnt subtlety that permeates, light and only mediocre overall.

This is my favorite amaretto. Now I have only had 4 total, and willing to try higher rated ones when I can find them, however so many are light watery and disappointing. This is rich thick and sweet with vanilla cherry subtlety. I do not understand why it is rated so low (85) here. Neat, soda of choice, ice, or mixed in a rum pineapple- it ads depth and elegance- enjoy.

A friend called this garden hose bourbon.... I think because it was after a Blanton’s comparison. Low proof with quick finish it is not impressive at the price.

Wow this finishes long. Nice. Has some heat there but a smooth combination makes it endearing. And the finish is fabulous. All the tastings previously made so no surprise except the finish that keeps on giving.

Ohhh, harsh. Ya it is up there in proof but beyond that it is harsh. Maybe a mix in with diluted aspects... hot toddy anyone.
