Plenty of heat here but not overwhelming. Hints of vanilla but not much. Decent but wouldn’t rush back to it.

Light and vanilla are accurate for this selection. Affordable is another. It’s a nice introduction to bourbon or a nice way to start an evening tasting

Fairly straightforward whiskey with a touch more character than the regular Boulder, which is an affordable go to bourbon in my closet. This one hints at sherry but doesn’t hit you in the face with it, so temper your expectations if that’s your thing. Overall enjoyed however unsure it’s with the $10 premium over the standard bottle

Very decent dram for the price. Def floral and sweet. Sipped with a splash of water and also used in old fashioned. Might buy again!

Sweet nose, light and fruity in the palate, short finish reminiscent of a 40% abv. Very easy drinker overall, and a nice one at that if that is what you are after. Have not tried the 12 year for comparison, but will look for it.

First off, gorgeous deep caramel colour, reminding me of my favourite scotch. Nose of ethanol, then the hot citrus hits your cheeks upon the first dram. Finish is medium, complex and only slightly satisfying. If it were $20 cheaper I’d say it’s interesting enough to buy again, but at its price point I’ll reach for a different premium bourbon next time.

Big and bold is the best way to describe. Needs a small ice cube or touch of water to smooth out the heat. Might buy again, or might not!

Agreed with others, honey and vanilla dominate the palate and finish, which just happen to be my 2 favourite flavours for bourbon. If you want to stronger finish look elsewhere for a bigger ABV, but this one punches quite well in its weight class. A must buy again!

Honey sweetness all the way through. A nice dram but only a marginal improvement in depth of flavour vs the 12 year. Another purchase would highly depend upon a sale price or not.
