Tastes

Nose: Super complex. Vanilla cream (pudding) bannana, coconut, red fruit, oak, and smokey char. Palate: Sweet vanilla, barrel spice, and some red fruit. Finish: long with that red fruit and barrel char.

Nose: tannic oak, vanilla, cinnamon, and a touch floral and a touch of citrus. Palate: All the cinnamon. Sweet cinnamon and spicy cinnamon like fireball hard candy. That floral note is there as well. Finish: Long and spicy in the best way. Really like this pour.

Nose: Sweet Oak, caramel, with a bit of HH nuttiness. Palate: Sweet oak, vanilla, with a hint of a tropical fruit (maybe mango), the nuttiness is here as well. Finish: Pretty long for 100 proof. The sweet vanilla note shines with a bit of smoke on the very end.

Nose: Creamy cinnamon and new oak. Palate: Flavors follow with a bit of vanilla. Finish: Short and hot and spices. Leaves you with a Kentucky hug.

Nose: creamy butterscotch oak, red fruit, spice. Palate: spicy palate, oaks there too. Finish: Sweet brown sugar comes back through.

Nose: Brown Sugar, Vanilla, touch of red fruit and a touch of smoke. Complex Palate: spice bomb on this one for me. Drinks semi hot. Finish: Sweet creamy notes come back on finish.

Nose: Amazing complex nose of spice, earthy, vanilla, and oak. Palate: So very complex. It drinks hot in a good way with earthy black tea, floral, spices, creamy vanilla, and oak in the back ground. Finish: Sweet Vanilla and oak show up a bit more on the finish. Then at the very tail end a rich earthy note finishes it out. This is one of favorite bourbons I’ve tried. By far my favorite thing I’ve had from Brown-Forman.

Nose: Fruity, cranberry, cherry, and apples. Bit more oak on the nose than I was expecting. Palate: That dark red fruit is there but a little more sweet creamy oak. Finish: That fruit and oak tangle back and forth. Bit of the traditional sweet brown sugar Buffalo Trace on the finish.

Nose: Super oakey, slight vanilla and char. Palate: Oak and spice some leather and almost a coffee/black tea note. Finish: Long finish for the proof, loads of oak and vanilla and leather. Gives you a nice little hug.

Nose: Fantastic creamy wheat cereal, and a ton of vanilla and caramel. Palate: One of the better wheat palates I’ve had in the last 12 months. Vanilla dominant but there is a touch of all spice and apple. Finish: Only knock is it’s a bit of a short finish. Vanilla and spice go back and forth. Don’t pick up a ton of barrel on this. Definitely not over charred. On the sweeter side all around. Really like this.
